Bruton's Tip-Off Classic Jr. Top Performers (2028)

Cumming, GA - This past weekend, Tip-Off Classic & NGSHoops.com collaborated to host the Tip-Off Classic Jr. Outstanding talent was on display. Continue reading to hear about some of the prospects that I was able to view during my time at the event.

Wesley Wehunt (2028) was a hard worker that made an imprint on the game I watched. I like how he crashed the glass and showed soft touch around the rim. He can run the floor and does the little things. He's very raw offensively, but has good tools to work with.

Jeremiah Anderson (2028) made a lasting impression with his ability to space the floor. He handles the ball well, can see over defenders, and has an efficient jumper from long range. Looks primed to grow some more.

Chisimdi Agbasi (2028) is a versatile forward with a high basketball IQ. He excels in both scoring and playmaking, making him a valuable asset to any team.

Jacorey Lee (2028) is a savvy point guard that can create offense for himself and for his teammates. Rising freshman won a middle school championship at Drew Charter and will bring that same level of production to the high school level sooner than later. He can knock down shots consistently.

Antonio Hill (2028) was a scoring machine. He at times scored more than half of his team's points and defenses couldn't do much to contain him. He's got good size, quickness, and changes pace well. Will immediately contribute in high school. Has the look of a D1 prospect.

Kobi Brown (2028) is a strong young guard that can impose his will on a game. He's fast in the open floor and can be relentless with his attacking style. On defense, he can make guards uncomfortable when he's dialed in and he's got quick feet. Also a threat to knock down jumpers.

Jermane Griffin (2028) was a matchup nightmare. He was too strong for smaller guards and too skilled offensively for wings and post players. Young prospect out of Lee/Harnett area could be impactful as a freshman.

Legend Frisby (2028) is one of the craftiest guards I saw over the weekend. He can do anything you imagine offensively. Off the bounce, he's lightning quick, has a great imagination and can counter most defenders until he gets to his spots. There is no quit in his game.

Brandon Duffy (2028) showed up this weekend with a point to prove. He guarded at a high level, shot the ball efficiently, and put on a clinic against virtually every matchup. He loves to attack the paint, but can space the floor well. Very athletic and skilled guard out of Georgia.

Adrian "AJ" Williams (2028) had one of the best pure handles over the weekend. His ability to create off the dribble is impressive & he weaves in & out of traffic with ease. He's fast, shifty & can run the offense for his team while remaining a threat to score the ball.

Chase Wilson (2028) is a smooth guard that has good athleticism & a silky shot. He can get hot from the outside & can be tough to contain when he's attacking the painted area. He's got a good frame that's capable of putting on muscle and his game translates well to high school.

Khalil Wells (2028) has a mature skillset that should allow him to step in & contribute right away in high school. He's strong, but he's also fast and a capable shot maker from multiple spots. Moves exceptionally well off the ball. Good prospect out of the Rockdale County area.

Keegan Taylor (2028) was a steady force at the point guard position. He knocked down a ridiculously high amount of floaters over the outstretched hands of defenders. Constantly applies pressure and attacks the painted area.

Trace Hawkins (2028) continues to impress at each viewing. He's a steady contributor that does many things well due to his versatile skillset. Can play either guard spot and is strong enough to spend some time guarding wings if needed. Moves well without the ball and scores it.

Cadien Hudson (2028) has outstanding length, athleticism, and intangibles. He's a strong defender that gives opposing scorers a hard time and he's an above the rim finisher offensively. He's at his best as a slasher and shows flashes of developing into a guard.

Jaquinton Adamson (2028) is an intriguing rising freshman out of the LaGrange, GA area. In one sequence, he buried back to back to back triples to blow a game wide open. He's also athletic and can make tough contested shots around the basket.

MJ Jawona was a pleasant surprise. He stands close to 6'6" and has quite a few good tools. MJ put down one of the better poster dunks this weekend, showed versatility as a secondary ball-handlers and has soft touch on his shot. A long-term gem in Georgia's 2028 class.

Bray Harper (2028) has a non-stop style of play. He can light it up from the outside & break away for easy scoring opportunities. Finished with 26 points & 4 assists in the first matchup I viewed. Rising freshman at Clarke Central (GA).

Zaccai Allen is a strong guard (2028) out of North Carolina that willed his way to the basket with ease. He's constantly on the attack and defends the ball with a high motor. He produced all weekend for his team and can only get better.
