Cumming, GA - Atlanta Hardwood Classic was a strong event stacked with talent. There were quite a few big-time prospects all the way from middle school to the high school ranks. Tyson Anthony | 2030 | 5'4" Combo Guard (FL) | Handlelife Anthony has the genetics and the skillset to grow into a high-level prospect. Scores the ball in bunches, dishes the ball, and doesn't make many mistakes on the floor. Was one of the clear-cut leaders to his team's success. He has a knack for taking over games and leading by example. Anthony's future is very promising. Son of former NBA player Greg Anthony. Mason Pridgett | 2028 | 5'10" Point Guard (GA) | Norcross Heat Crafty point guard that shifts a ton of defenders out of his view. Uses his hesitation dribble very well to create opportunities for his team. Pridgett's basketball IQ is evident in his playmaking. He sets up his teammates for success and controls the tempo. Caleb Davis | 2031 | 5'4" Combo Guard (GA) | Beyond Basketball Davis can score the ball at a high level. Really appreciated his willingness to mix it up and he showed that he's an above-average finisher. Has a nice floater, a fluid jump shot, and a good feel for the game. Davis's competitive nature and vision make him a standout. His playmaking is beyond his years. Johod Lovett | 2031 | 5'10" Small Forward (GA) | Georgia Savages Excellent young prospect that showed the ability to play in the post and/or on the wing. Uses his length very well on the defensive end and got better every game. Lovett's versatility allows him to impact the game in multiple ways. His improvement is impressive. Kerrington Moore | 2028 | 5'10" Point Guard (GA) | Decatur Blazers Fast point guard prospect that is a big-time scoring threat and an adept passer. Loves to attack in transition and can knock down the three-point shot at a high clip. Moore's speed and agility make him a constant threat. His scoring and passing make him a dual threat. Kolby Hammond | 2031 | 5'6" Combo Guard (LA) | NOLA All-Stars Hammond was a steady option at the guard spot for his team. He scored it consistently, handled the ball, and brought a calmness to the team. Has good size at the guard spot and provided versatility on both ends of the floor. Hammond's composure under pressure is impressive. His versatility is a big asset. Tanner Morgan | 2030 | 5'3" Point Guard (GA) | Georgia Stars BLU High IQ point guard that has no issues producing even while playing up against bigger players. Highly skilled, fearless, and makes players around him better. Morgan's leadership is clear on the court. His smart decisions and playmaking elevate his team. Once his body and athleticism catch up to his skill level, he's going to be a dynamite player. Braxton Hodge | 2032 | 5'8" Power Forward (GA) | Beyond Basketball Hodge is a young post player with unlimited potential. He's got excellent length and showed flashes of wing skills. Hodge is a good rim protector, can run the floor, and can finish. Watch his development closely. His impact on both ends is already significant and he can only get better over the course of the next few years. Caron Warren | 2031 | 5'3" Point Guard (LA) | NOLA All-Stars Incredible point guard that was a dominant force all weekend. Makes excellent reads as the primary ball-handler and showed the ability to be a big-time shot maker. Any team that he is on will be in a position to win games. Warren's leadership and game management are top-notch. His scoring ability adds another layer to his game. I recommend watching this kid play anytime he's in town. Ivan Jenkins Jr. | 2030 | 5'6" Combo Guard (NC) | Team Slay Jenkins was one of the few players I saw over the weekend that could dominate a game without scoring the ball. He constantly beat his opponents off the dribble and dished it to open teammates. Once he grows, he'll become a prioritized guard out of his area. Jenkins's court vision and playmaking are exceptional. His ability to control the game without scoring is rare. Yet another kid who comes from great genetics and knows the game.
