Alexander Girls have won three of their last four and look like a team finding its stride at the right time. At the Wood Elite Classic they picked up another strong win, defeating Pope 55-46, and it was junior ESPN 4-star Nimah Ibidunni who completely set the tone. She dominated the matchup with 27 points and controlled the game on both ends. Ibidunni is a real force in the middle, cleaning up the boards, altering shots, and scoring with power and purpose. When she is locked in like this she changes everything for Alexander.

For Pope it was Abbey Bensman putting on a show and leading all scorers with 35 points. She scored from all three levels and put constant pressure on Alexander's defense. Bensman is the type of player who can erupt quickly and she proved that again by stringing together buckets in bunches.
