Sha’Yah Gobs is a standout versatile forward out of Mt. Vernon, who should be on your recruitment radar. At 6’4 he's comfortable in the backcourt and shows a skillset to play the 1-2 if needed. Gobs plays a mature smooth game where nothing is forced. It's gameplay that is easy to fit any nearly any system at the next level. He’s patient with his reads offensively, uses either his athleticism and speed to get by defenders and has a solid frame that he uses to be physical with defenders to score inside. He’s also capable of consistently knocking down shots from the perimeter which makes a tough guard. Defensively he's an asset and can guard 1-5, will take charges for the team and is great rebounder.
